Canadian Convalescent Endowment Fund

This is an irrevocable trust fund supported by donations from Canadian Subordinate Temples, Daughters of the Nile; individuals; Stepping Stones to Happiness certificates; wills and bequests; matching gifts; and the My Gift Incentive Program.

Each calendar year, the interest income from the Canadian Foundation’s Convalescent Endowment Fund is distributed to Shriners Hospitals for Children® – Canada. A contribution to the Convalescent Endowment Fund, whether it is $1.00, $1,000.00 or $100,000.00 is a “gift that keeps on giving”.

The Daughters of the Nile Canadian Foundation helps ensure better lives for the children receiving treatment today, tomorrow and for generations to come.

Canadian Convalescent Relief Fund

The Convalescent Relief Fund provides annual cash contributions to the Shriners Hospitals for Children® – Canada. Contributions to the Convalescent Relief Fund are used in the fiscal year in which they are received. Contributions to the CRF, together with interest income from the Convalescent Endowment Fund, are donated directly to Shriners Hospitals for Children® – Canada. A donor gift to the Convalescent Relief Fund represents a one-time contribution to help the World’s Greatest Philanthropy – Shriners Hospitals for Children®.
