Welcome to the newly designed Daughters of the Nile, Canadian Foundation website. To our members, this is your website. By providing a resource destination for you to connect, discover and share information will strengthen our organization and our ability to enhance our support of Shriners Hospitals for Children® – Canada.
In support of Shriners Hospitals for Children® – Canada the Daughters of the Nile Canadian Foundation maintains the Supreme Temple Daughters of the Nile Convalescent Endowment Fund and a Supreme Temple Daughters of the Nile Convalescent Relief Fund, jointly known as the Canadian Foundation.
Supreme Temple News
I am Patricia “Patty” J. Larimore, Supreme Queen of the Supreme Temple Daughters of the Nile. I will be leading the organization and visiting all the subordinate Temples in 130 cities. I also have the privilege of visiting the 21 Shriners Hospitals, Health Centers and clinics in the United States, Canada and Mexico.
Cleft lip and palate
At Shriners Children’s™, patients with a cleft lip and/or palate are treated by a multidisciplinary group of experts who work as a team to improve the child’s appearance and their ability to eat, breathe and communicate. Each patient’s unique treatment plan may include surgery, orthodontics, hearing, speech and psychological therapies, along with specialized support.
Management of orthopaedic conditions
How We Help
We provide surgical and nonsurgical management of pediatric orthopaedic conditions with state-of-the-art techniques. In addition to providing orthopaedic care for stable fractures, our specialized multidisciplinary teams care for children with rare orthopaedic conditions.
How We Help
Our orthopaedic staff work collaboratively with primary care physicians, parents and the patient to develop comprehensive treatment plans that meet the individual needs of each patient. Through innovative care, we instill confidence and teach patients that there are no limits to what they can do.
