Supreme Temple News
Founded in Seattle, Washington, in 1913, Daughters of the Nile is a women’s fraternal organization dedicated to fostering friendship, personal growth, and meaningful service. With the institution of a Temple in Victoria, British Columbia, in 1918, we became an international organization. For more than 112 years, we have proudly honored our rich traditions while embracing the opportunities of the future.
Our members come together to build lasting friendships, support one another, and make a positive difference through our philanthropic commitment to Shriners Children’s®. Since our first contribution more than a century ago, the Daughters of the Nile Foundations in Canada and the United States have donated more than $80 million in support of the exceptional care provided by Shriners Children’s®. Beyond our financial contributions, our members generously volunteer their time, talents, and compassion to help improve the lives of children and families.
As Supreme Queen for 2026, my theme is Love, Loyalty, and Friendship — Cherish the Past • Embrace the Future. These guiding principles reflect the heart of our organization: honoring the legacy of those who came before us while building a vibrant future for generations to come. By cherishing our history, remaining loyal to our values, and fostering friendships that unite us, we continue to strengthen our sisterhood and our commitment to serving others.
We invite you to explore our website, learn more about our remarkable sisterhood, and contact us if you are interested in becoming part of our journey. We would be delighted to welcome you into a community where friendship flourishes, service inspires, and traditions endure.
In Love, Loyalty and Friendship,
