There may not have been a tea, but make no mistake — the fun was in full bloom at their latest gathering!
Nineteen members came together for a spirited celebration that was anything but ordinary. The Miramichi ladies were missed, as many chose not to attend out of respect for one of their members who sadly passed away the day before. Their absence was felt, but their grace and thoughtfulness were honored throughout the event.
As for the rest? They brought the style. Hats, boas, capes, costume jewellery, and yes — even fake moustaches made appearances. One Past Queen made a bold choice and grabbed the tutu (with confidence!), while others chose a more classic look with boas and wide-brimmed hats that would make any royal jealous.
A Touching Moment with the White Rose
A particularly emotional highlight came when they all gathered to wave goodbye to the White Rose, which was lovingly delivered to Oasis Temple in Montreal by Princess Royal Joanne Gaudet.
(And for the record — in that photo, it’s definitely a tear being wiped, not a rude gesture! We’ve all seen it, and the clarification is appreciated. 😉)
Quilts, Raffles & Big Wins
Their beautiful quilt raffle was a huge success — raising $1,450! It was a fantastic fundraiser, and every ticket, stitch, and shared laugh helped to make it happen. Hats off (and boas too) to everyone who contributed.
Not a Tea, But Something Better
It wasn’t a tea.
It wasn’t quiet.
It wasn’t ordinary.
It was joyful.
It was fabulous.
And it was exactly the kind of gathering that reminded everyone why this group is so special.
They came.
They dressed up.
They laughed, hugged, danced, waved, and remembered.
And they had a really fun time.
