I had the absolute privilege of volunteering with an amazing group of OKANAGAN SHRINE CLUBS (GIZEH SHRINE) Nobles and Ladies on Friday, November 7th—and what an unforgettable night it was! We teamed up with the legendary band FOREIGNER at their Kelowna concert to help sell merchandise in support of Shriners Hospitals for Children.
And the best part? Thanks to the energy of the crowd and everyone’s enthusiasm, we sold just under 500 CDs in one evening! (No vinyl, unfortunately—they completely sold out at their Maritimes concert. A good problem to have!)
FOREIGNER has been making these donations at every stop across Canada and the U.S., with proceeds going to Shrine International—and at the end of the day, we’re all united in one incredible philanthropy.
It was truly inspiring to be part of something so meaningful, surrounded by dedicated volunteers and supported by a world-class band. What a night!
