A message from P.Q. Laura Furnival, Elected Canadian Member Trustee

Good evening, and to our ladies and guests from the U.S. and Brazil, welcome to Canada! It is my privilege to represent the Canadian Foundation, our ten Canadian Temples, and the affiliated clubs. Since 1918, our Canadian Temples and their Ladies of the Household have worked together tirelessly, in friendship and harmony, for our sole philanthropy: Shriners Hospitals for Children Canada. This year, for fiscal 2025, I am thrilled to share that the Canadian Foundation has gifted $477,000.00—our largest donation to date. And, over and above this amount, our ladies have donated an additional $60,792.49, representing 3,995 items to the

I had the absolute privilege of volunteering with an amazing group of OKANAGAN SHRINE CLUBS (GIZEH SHRINE)

I had the absolute privilege of volunteering with an amazing group of OKANAGAN SHRINE CLUBS (GIZEH SHRINE) Nobles and Ladies on Friday, November 7th—and what an unforgettable night it was! We teamed up with the legendary band FOREIGNER at their Kelowna concert to help sell merchandise in support of Shriners Hospitals for Children. FOREIGNER went above and beyond with their generosity, donating $5 from every CD and $10 from every vinyl sold. They even featured three special promo spots during the show to highlight the incredible work of Shriners Hospitals and the Shriners organization. And the best part? Thanks to the

Honor SQ Kathy

Dear Ladies, You may have recently received communication from the American Foundation regarding the introduction of new Stepping Stones in Honour for SQ Kathy’s year. We’d like to clarify that, unfortunately, this program will not be offered through the Canadian Foundation. Why is the Canadian Foundation not participating? The reasons are as follows: High production costs: Each year, we would need to produce new printing plates and artwork, order a minimum quantity of Stepping Stones, and handle distribution to individual Temples. Smaller donor base: Unlike

Donation in Honour of PSQ Margaret Ann Risk

Notice everyone in the photo is HAPPY.  Why?  Because a group of Canadian Members of Daughters of the Nile (called the GEMS) just presented a monetary donation to The Canadian Foundation that was earmarked for the Patient Special Needs Fund, which will directly assist patients.  It was given to celebrate the 10th Anniversary of Margaret Ann’s GEMS.  Any occasion is a good reason to make a donation to the Canadian Foundation.  Whether it is in memory or in honor of someone, you are helping a child with medical needs while bringing a smile to the recipient. -PSQ Margaret Ann Risk-
